a Huddersfield based Infants and Nursery School. The successful applicant will be fluent in
Bengali with the ability to also read and write Bengali, as you will be
liaising with pupils, parents and the school with regards to the welfare and
performance of pupils. Good communication
skills and previous experience of working within an education setting would be
an advantage. The position is part time

Employment Mentor Required. Based in Huddersfield town centre and working on a funded project to assist long term unemployed candidates to secure employment. Working closely with a respected educational organisation the ideal candidate will be responsible for classes of 15/20 and will be instrumental in motivating candidates to overcome problems, discover solutions and achieve their personal goals. The courses that are run are pre-written and cover the following areas: Security/Catering, Hospitality and Travel and Tourism. The ideal candidate will be self sufficient and a self starter. Experience is an advantage as is a teaching/tutoring qualification such as PETALS. It is desirable that the successful candidate has their own transport. The position is offered on a contract basis for an initial 2 month period and may well be extended if funding allows.

develop their skills as far as possible.

provide expertise in the area of language and study skills to help students to

learning difficulties. Specialist tutors have superb communication skills,
organisational skills and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of
students over the academic year.
Educated
to degree level or equivalent with a British Dyslexia Association accredited
qualification is also an advantage.
